Inside the FYS Program
The FYS is the one course that all Lafayette students have in common. Taken in the first semester, FYSes introduce you to college-level reading and writing through student-driven exploration of a “big” question or problem in the liberal arts and sciences. Prospective students visiting campus are welcome to sit in on an FYS and can make arrangements through the Office of Admissions.
